This elevated, second and third story deck structure, was considerably damaged by dry rot and subterranean and dampwood termites, to the point where major structural beams and other structural components had to be repaired and replaced. All new TimberTech decking was installed along with all new tempered glass guardrails.

As part of the work Hy-Tech Construction Inc. completed, inspection for termite and dry rot damage was required. In this video we show a colony of live termites that we discovered, in a major structural support for a canterlieverd third story deck.
